Could a Making The Band group favorite be reuniting?
Four of five members of Diddy’s defunct group Danity Kane were spotted out by TMZ having lunch, reportedly with a new manager. The platinum selling girls – including Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres (D. Woods remained absent, possibly still butting heads with all the girls) – are reportedly planning a reunion that is most likely going to happen, according to TMZ.
There is speculation that the girls (no word if Woods will join later) will be recording a new album and touring under the Danity Kane name, with no involvement from their former Bad Boy president. Diddy, who hand-picked each girl for the group during his Making The Band reality series, disbanded the group and dropped them from his label in 2008, only keeping Dawn signed as a solo act. Diddy later formed his own group with Dawn, adding former member Kaleena to form Diddy-Dirty Money.
When the paps asked if Sean Combs was notified of the reunion effort, it was Aubrey threw a bit of shade: “Who’s that?”
Danity Kane released 2 platinum albums: 2006’s Danity Kane and 2008’s Welcome To The Dollhouse.
